Do dreams have meanings?

I often wonder if dreams have any meaning behind them? I keep having the same set of about 5 dreams. I love these dreams; I think about them throughout the day and often wonder if they hold any meaning in my life. I already know the answer to that question, they hold meaning or I wouldn't be thinking about them as often as I do. Makes me wonder if I should explore them or just let them be dreams. . . . very interesting but also very confusing.
